About FLAG Camp
Flag Camp is a Christian summer day camp that promotes the social, mental, physical and spiritual development of kids ages 5-12. The counselors at Flag Camp create a safe environment while your children enjoy a wide variety of exciting activities. In the summer of 2026 we will operate Monday-Friday from June 15-July 31. At the end of the day our mission to provide a safe place for your camper to grow with us and have Fun Learning About God. We are non-profit and operate under a 501c3 organization.

FLAG Camp 2026 runs Monday–Friday, June 15 – July 31 (7 weeks). No weekends.

Campers ages 5–12 are welcome! Campers are grouped into tribes by age and gender (5–6, 7–8, 9–10, and 11–12).

• Registration Fee: $40 per child (discounts for siblings — $35 for the 2nd child, $30 for each additional child)
• Daily Rate: $40 per day
• Families with multiple children receive a 5% discount on each child's daily fees
• 10% discount available for AdventHealth and Fletcher Academy Inc. employees
• Scholarship funds are available! Email ardenflagcamp@aol.com for an application.
You only pay for the days your camper attends — credits are given for days paid but missed.

Extended care is available:
• Pre-Care: 7:00–7:45 AM ($9) | 7:45–8:15 AM ($6)
• After-Care: 4:45–5:15 PM ($6) | 5:20–6:00 PM ($9) | After 6:00 PM ($2/5 min)

So much! A typical day includes:
• Camp Council — singing, stories, prayer, and life lessons
• Class Rotations — Bible, cooking, crafts, science, Spanish, music, nature, games, life skills, and more
• Afternoon Activities — swimming, bowling, field trips, and other adventures
• Tribe Time — small group bonding with counselors
• Camp Store — campers earn "FLAG Shillings" for good behavior and can spend them on small prizes
Walt Hutton Memorial Scholarship Fund
For over 20 years, Walt Hutton was the heartbeat of FLAG Camp — making sure every child felt welcome, regardless of their family’s circumstances. His legacy lives on through this scholarship fund, which helps subsidize camp fees by 25%, 50%, or 75% so that cost is never the reason a child misses out. Pastor Rich Maskelony
Director
In his sixth summer at camp, Pastor Rich is excited for another year of giving worship talks, and creating opportunities for good, clean, fun. He makes sure camp comes and stays together each summer. He also overseas our exciting field trips each afternoon. Pastor Rich is also the Associate/ Youth Pastor at the Arden Church. He is happily married to Mrs. Maskelony.

Shelly Maskelony
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
Mrs. Maskelony has helped with camp in various capacities in the last six years, and is excited to return for another full summer. This year she will help support our counselors in their efforts to bring fun and engaging mini “classes” to the campers in the mornings during the last three weeks of the summer. During the rest of the year, she teaches 6th grade homeroom and middle school Language Arts at Captain Gilmer Christian School.

Gail Bremner
TREASURER
Mrs. Bremner has been the treasurer for FLAG Camp since it started over 20 years ago. She loves numbers and is semi-retired after doing bookkeeping and treasurer work most of her life.
